Immigration Pro Bono Opportunities Available

No Experience Necessary!

Have you considered ways that you, as a lawyer, can give back to the community?

The State Bar of Michigan has adopted the Voluntary Pro Bono Standard stating that all active members of the State Bar should participate in direct delivery of pro bono legal services to the economically disadvantaged.

HBAM has partnered with the Michigan Immigrant Rights Center to offer volunteer attorneys pro bono opportunities to help people in Michigan who need legal counsel with asylum and other administrative claims. No experience is necessary—MIRC will train you! Spanish and other foreign language skills are helpful but not required. For more information email Ruby Robinson at mirc@michiganimmigrant.org. Thanks!

We are on a mission.

This association is more than just a professional network; it's a family that believes in each other's potential. Through their unwavering support and the platform they provide, our members have grown into more confident, capable attorneys.

Ready to take the next step?

“HBAM has not only amplified my professional growth but also enriched my personal journey, fostering lifelong connections and opening doors to new opportunities.”
